On March 15, 2004, the breath of God blew upon the earth, and E’Mauri Leevon Hampton became a living soul. E’Mauri is the first child of Kadreana Hampton. On Sunday April 30,2023, God in his infinite wisdom called E’Mauri home. E’Mauri was born in Jacksonville, Florida and matriculated through the Duval County public school, graduating from Englewood High School Class of 2023.
E’Mauri was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Known to his family and friends as “Boo” and others as “EU”. As the oldest of his siblings, he was a trailblazer and always respected being the first. While family was important to E’Mauri, his passion and purpose was easily witnessed in his love for football and basketball. Being a professional athlete was his purpose and passion; the most significant aspect of E’mauri’s legacy is his love and support for others. Throughout his childhood to maturing into a leader, role model, and inspiration to many. There are countless memories and stories about E’Mauri’s selfless giving to others, his ability to think beyond himself, which will never be forgotten.

E’Mauri also leaves to cherish his memories a host of sorrowing cousins, other relatives, and friends such as Andra (LaShonya) Downs, Greg Hale, Connor Doherty, Scherolyn Smith and Kaniyah Brailsford
