Sidney Shavon Fullwood

Sidney Shavon Fullwood was born November 27, 1980 in Seoul Korea to the late Sharon Evon F. Dees and Sidney Harris Dees, III.  She was brought to Jacksonville, Fl. in 1981 to live with her maternal grandmother.  At age two, she was taken to her parents in El Paso, Texas where they lived for some years.  She attended elementary school in Killeen, Texas, then middle and high school in Jacksonville, graduating in 1999 from Sandalwood High School. She departed this life on June 1, 2020 at Memorial Hospital Jacksonville.

Sidney was always a hard worker, and "retired" from Florida Blue in 2016 after being there fifteen years as a customer service representative.  She was currently employed as a customer service rep at Concentrix, Inc.  She was full of life, loved her family and friends, and very opinionated about her surroundings and what she wanted to do.

Sidney Shavon is preceded in death by her mother. Those left with good memories are her maternal grandmother Kay Frances Fullwood (G-mamma), sister: Syreeta Renee D. Marrero, Jacksonville, Fl., brother: Shawn Lavar Dees, Middleburg, Fl. Grand Uncle: Oliver (Maxine) Green, Jr., Jacksonville, Fl., Nieces: Jasmine Danielle Glennon & Karmen Renee Dees, Jacksonville, Fl., Cinderella Scott, Charlotte, NC.  Father: Sidney H. Dees, III, Paternal grandmother Margaret L. Dees, Aunt Sylvia Graham, all of Pensacola, Fl. Aunt Gigi Bradford of New Orleans, La. All families from Beaufort, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia;  Dear friends: Selina McCray, Ladarius Rozier, Justin Glennon, Jesse Glennon, Danielle Faulkner, Erica Van Marte, Krystal Edwards, Rebecca Allison, Tonya Daniels, Susan Burke, Danika Mitchell, all of Jacksonville, Fl. and Shaun Patrick Ledman in heaven.
