Robert Lee (Sr) Woods

Mr Robert Lee Woods, Sr. was born on January 6, 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Woods,Sr. and Bernice Woods. He attended Eugene Butler and graduated from Paxon Senior High School. He met and married Lounetta McRoy. He was employed by Pitman and Sons concrete for many years. He was a member of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church. He was well known in the community for laughter and love. He also served and represented his country for over 10 years in the Army and Marine Corps.

He leaves to mourn his wife Lounetta Deloris Woods. His children Robert Lee Woods, Jr., Darryl Woods, step-children: LaTonya Heard, Stephanie Platt (Lorenzo), Marvin Christopher, Jr., grandchildren: Gerald Heard, Jr., Lorenzo Platt, Jr. and Daviawn Platt. Siblings: Sister: Connie Alexander Simmons(Gregory), Brothers: Warren Woods (Rolener) and Ronnie Woods. Sister and brother in law: Prince Woods (Howard Sr.-deceased) and Gloria and Eugene Hodges. Nieces: Andrea Woods-Johnson(Chris), from McCalla, Alabama, Monica Alexander, LaTonya Woods-Foster (Rory,) and Tia Woods. Nephew: Howard Woods,III ((Tinesha). Great niece Chelsea Johnson from McCalla, Alabama and Paige Woods. Great nephews, Tyrone Johnson (Darnesha) and Rory Foster. A host of other loving family members including aunts, uncles,cousins, great, great nieces and nephews and friends
