Lisa Sabrina Love

Lisa Sabrina Love, age 54, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 28, 2021, in her home.  She was born January 30, 1967 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Leroy Love and Elizabeth Love (Marshall).  She was a 1985 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School.  With her love of children and serving others, she worked as a child care professional and caregiver for the disabled.

She unapologetically lived life loving to have fun, laughing, and being a blessing to everyone that came in her path.  She was known to affectionately give everyone their own personal hilarious nickname.  More than likely, this can be attributed to her daddy giving her the nickname “Tockey Beekey” and her mom giving her the nickname “String Bean”.

In spite of the many health challenges she faced, she lived her life to the fullest, determined to “find something to laugh about everyday”. Her warm, inviting, and contagious smile even made strangers feel like family. Lisa had an uncanny ability to greet people with her captivating smile. She loved with all of her heart. 

Lisa had an undeniable love and reverence for God.  Her greatest desire was to please her Heavenly Father and declare His glory.  As passionate as she was with loving others, nothing compared to the excitement and zeal that she had for worshipping and pleasing the Lord.  Her soul wrenching shouts of Hallelujah was evident of her unending hunger and thirst for God’s righteousness.

Lisa was blessed by God, with a beautiful voice and she was extremely delighted to use her gift of singing to worship and honor God and to lift the spirits of others.  She would find a singing partner in anyone who was willing to help her lift up the name of Jesus!  She truly knew that she was created to worship the Lord and she never missed an opportunity to do just that.

Lisa has been described as someone who could make you forget about the worries you have. Her sense of humor and ability to live the most out of every moment was uplifting. From the highly entertaining stories she told, to the intense way she loved. She was a cornerstone of unity for a large host of family members, friends, and an extended community of loved ones.

Lisa was a devoted mother who loved her children unconditionally. She was known to help many in their times of need. Even as she experienced life’s challenges of her own, she was determined to love and care for her two children through it all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Love, and brother, Lamont Love.  She is survived by her loving mother, Elizabeth Marshall; children- Allayah Anglin-Love and Jaquez Anglin-Love; siblings- Linda Love, Edward Marshall, Dana Marshall, Edwardo Marshall, Alena Anglin, and Antwan Donald; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends she considered family.
