Mrs. Joyce Boyer, affectionately known as Momma Joyce, was born July 12,1939 to the late Logan Worthington and Queen Ballinger. Momma Joyce was the only child and attended local schools in Brooklyn New York.
In 1955 she met and married the love of her life Anthony Boyer, who proceeded her in death. Being a military wife afforded her the opportunity to reside in several states of the U.S. As a result of this union 5 children were born.
Momma Joyce enjoyed talking with people and was always willing to help others. She was a connoisseur of foods with seafood being her favorite. She enjoyed Lane Wiley with her seniors. She would dance, play bingo, and socialize. She loved visiting game rooms and family functions with her family and extended family where it was said Momma Joyce was the first one there and the first one to leave.
Momma Joyce was employed by the Haskell family for 20 plus years and attended Zion Grove Baptist Church.
Momma Joyce is survived by her Children: Antoinette, Toni (Eric) Woodland, Frank Boyer, Misty (Preston) Robinson, Marie (Mel) Elliott.
Grandchildren: Kevin, Margrette, Anthony, Tyrone, Ken, Frank Jr, Jaylen, Johnathan, Dana, Destiny, Brisha, Chris, James, Myrykle
