William Kelley Obituary On December 9, 2020, Deacon William Richard Kelley received and answered the call of the Father and went home to be with Jesus Christ. Deacon Kelley was born on December 4, 1936 in Winston-Salem, NC to Richard Kelley and Lenora Eldridge. He was employed as a Carpenter and Brick Mason for over 50 years. Deacon Kelley was a member and served diligently as a Deacon of Jesus Name Assembly for many years. He was eager to help with any needs of the church where his craft was needed. Deacon Kelley is preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Pearl Kelley, father, Richard Kelley, mother, Lenora M. Eldridge (Chancer, Sr.), siblings, Minister Ruby Archie (Robert), Jarvis Kelley (Mary), James O. Kelley (Jerry), Bernard Eldridge (Dorothy), George E. Eldridge (Cheryl), Chancer L. Eldridge (Bonnie) and children, Marvin Kelly, Sharon Kelly and step daughter, Victoria Proudme. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving sister, Elder Linda Foster (Ronald), four beautiful daughters, Eileen Kelly, Cheryl Clinton Woods, Alicia Ricks (Tavares) and stepdaughter, Linda Reed Clarke (David), and four sons, William R. Kelly Jr., William Brice Kelly III, Dwight McConnell and Reginald Clinton. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Deacon Kelley will be immensely missed, but we rejoice because he is home with our Lord. Services Visitation Thursday December 17, 2020 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM C. L.
