Walter Day Obituary Walter James Day, 39, transitioned unexpectedly on August 16, 2023. Walter lovingly known to family and friends as "Wa-Wa" was born December 14, 1983, to the late Nathaniel Day Sr. and Linda Kay Hall in Jacksonville, Florida. He received his education within the Duval County Public School system. He is preceded in death by his loving father, Nathaniel Day Sr. Grandparents: Doris and Hawley Hall, and Jeanette and Alexander Day. Uncles: Walter Day Sr, Jerry Moreland, Michael Hall, and his nephew, Meleeke Beals. He is survived by his mother, Linda Hall, his only beloved son, McCoy James Day; Sisters: Linda K. Hall, and Latosha D. Beals (Carlos), his only Brother, Nathaniel A. Day Jr. (Jamesha); Nieces: Natalie, Jasmine, Makayla, Cierra, Myleaha and Alexandria. Nephews: Cameron, Nayon, Nathaniel III, and Jamarion. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held Friday August 25, 2023 at 11:00am at Cleo Burns Memorial Chapel 3031 Moncrief Road Jacksonville, FL 32209. Family asks all flowers be sent to the Chapel.
