Vera Mae Mungin was born on July 18, 1943 in Vienna, Georgia to Mr. David and Susie Williams. She departed this life on Thursday, August 23, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. During her early years, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she attended Matthew Gilbert Public School. She later married Joseph Mungin, Sr., to this union six girls and four boys were born. She was a faithful member at True Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Susie Williams; son, Isreal Mungin; sisters, Adalee Cross, Minnie Ware and Cassie McKenzie; brothers, Johnnie, Bufus and Rufus Williams; granddaughter, Robin Leeanna Parrott; Jordan Christian Flournoy. She leaves to cherish he memories a devoted husband of twenty-four years, Roger Ellison, Jr.; nine children, Joeann (Amos) of Jacksonville, FL, Joseph (Erstine) of Sandersville, GA, Josephine Lisa (Robert) of Jacksonville, FL, Juanita of Perry, GA, Cassie (Darrnell) of Jacksonville, FL, Jacob (Lakika) of Bartow, FL, Vera (Micheal) of Callahan, FL, Diann of Baton Rouge, LA and King David (Kim) of Jacksonville, FL; 24 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; loving sister, Annie R. Cobb of Vienna, GA; brother, Henry F. Williams of Syracuse, NY; sister-in-law, Barbara Elmore of Syracuse, NY; two special nephews, Marvin McKenzie and Eddie C. Cobb; a very devoted niece Susie Cross and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
