Tyler Easterling, Sr. Obituary Tyler Benicol Easterling Sr, age 35, of Jacksonville, Fl, passed away on January 5, 2025. Tyler (affectionately known as "Tee") was born on Mothers Day, May 14, 1989 to Malinda Green and Tyler Worth Easterling Jr. In Georgetown, SC and later relocated to Jacksonville Fl at five months old where he remained and considered his home. Tyler leaves his memories to be cherished by his parents Malinda Green (Darin) & Tyler W Easterling Jr of Jacksonville, Fl; his only child Tyler B Easterling Jr (Tyvika-Mom) of St Marys, Ga; two sisters, Manesha Shubrick & Markeisha Easterling of Jacksonville, Fl, and brother, Antoine Easterling (Brittany) also of Jacksonville, Fl; His loving grandparents ;Oliver II & Joyce Simmons of Buford, GA, five nephews, Raphael Reed, Elijah Easterling, Jahmil Reed, Antoine Jr & Cory Easterling ; two nieces, Amaya Reed & Mariah Stuart all of Jacksonville, Fl; Nine uncles, Kevin & Oliver Simmons III of Baltimore, MD, Kristopher Simmons of Yonkers, NY, Andre Simmons (Sheryl) of Aynor, SC, Willie Simmons (Sherita) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Antwan Simmons of Georgetown, SC, Jamison Simmons (Alexis) of Clemson, SC, Edward Easterling (Shawn) of Paterson, NJ, and George Easterling of Jacksonville, Fl; four aunts; Shonia Simmons & Shalene Logan (Odell) of Georgetown, SC, Vina Jones (Thesis) & Betty Easterling of Jacksonville, Fl. bonus mom, Patricia Short, bonus brothers Darius Jackson, Christoher Bolden, Darin Davis Jr (Peppy), Quentero Davis & Tommy Leggett of Jacksonville, Fl and bonus grandmom Gladys Grayson of Georgetown, SC, and a large host of cousins, grand uncles, grand aunts and friends, ALL of whom HE loved dearly and was loved in return. Tyler was preceded in death by his grandparents Willie Simmons Sr, Dorothy Easterling & Tyler W Easterling Sr; his Great-grandmother's; Essie Shubrick Edwards, Josephine Dennison & Louise Barrentine, and Great-grandfather Timothy Edwards, Sr., all who were waiting to greet him at heavens door. Today, we celebrate and remember the life of our beloved Tyler (Tee, Lord Blocka T, Blocka). In his short life of 35 years, he has touched many lives with his kind heart, and his selfless, sweet and nurturing spirit. He was the smart, go to person in the neighborhood and was always shown deep respect and admiration by his peers due to his selfless deeds growing up. Tylers greatest joy was his one and only child, his son Tyler Jr whom he affectionately called "Daddyman", and his role of being "the man of the family", which he took on at a young age, a role that he embraced and took upon himself seriously and with pride. His other passions included; fishing, dog training (he was certified) dancing along with being a prankster.
