Thomas Simmons Obituary Thomas Simmons, was born April 6, 1946 in Olustee, Florida to parents James Simmons and Ethel Mae Tayor-Simmons (deceased) and he demised on January 4, 2025 to join his lifelong companion Rosetta Mills (deceased). Thomas was the eldest of 8 children. He leaves to celebrate his life, 5 siblings: Howard Taylor, Jerome Simmons, Julius Taylor, Kenneth Simmons, Erma Williams. Preceded in death: Sherrell Coleman and Mary Elizabeth Kelsey. Thomas and Rosetta had a total of 8 children: Brenda Burroughs (Charlie), Thomas Mills, Jeffery Mills (Jamia), Anthony Mills, Charles Mills, Reginald Simmons, Mary Mills-Oruamabo and step-son Ralph Young. 13 Grandchildren: Antoinette, Michael, Donnell, Destiny, Jaquan, Javenya, Tamia, Daniel, Quantia, Damarius,Charlea, Taylor, and Jakei. 19 great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
