Terry A. Pugh

November 10, 1948 — April 28, 2024

Terry Pugh Obituary Mrs. Terry Ann Pugh was born on November 10th, 1948, to Roosevelt Mack and Martha Ann Davis. She attended Stanton High school. She grew up on the northwest side of Jacksonville and left her mark on the people in the neighborhoods. She is well known for her beautiful smile, infectious personality, "tell it like it is" mentality, and amazing sense of humor. Terry was a firecracker who lit up every room she walked in and was unapologetically her, no matter who was around. When she believed something, she stood on it and would not compromise her morals and standards for any reason. Her younger years consisted of giving birth to her two sons Leroy Graham and Johnnie Graham. She was a loving mother and daughter to her mother Martha. On December 19th, 1977, she married Michael Ray Pugh and went on to achieve 46 loving years together. Terry and her husband Michael were a power couple. They did everything together, from traveling, to crabbing on the river, hanging out at the dock and gambling. Terry loved to party and have a good time. She would often go to the game rooms for entertainment and on many occasions would win big money and she was always generous to the ones she loved. She would win money and give it all away. She blessed everybody. Terry Ann was also an amazing cook. She cooked all the time, for large events and holidays for the whole family. She made the best macaroni and cheese and dressing you ever tasted. Her favorite food without a doubt was seafood and while she was highly allergic to it, she never let that stop her from cooking and chowing down on blue crabs, shrimp and oysters. She would even go and catch her own crabs sometimes. Terry was just a wonderful woman all around. She often surrounded herself with family and friends and had a special place in her heart for children. She always had a house full and spoiled them rotten. She kept every snack, cookies, chip and bought them every toy you could imagine. Every child in the family always wanted to be at her house because it was like heaven for them. She had everything! Terry had a special gift of being able to connect our entire family together and get them to show up. She was a very sweet and caring person. The kind of woman who would give the shirt off her back and share her last piece of food with anyone in need and never even mention it again. She was a one-of-a-kind lady and will be missed dearly forever. She was preceded in death by her father: Roosevelt Mack; mother: Martha Ann Davis; and son: Leroy Graham.
