Shylon L. December

Sis. Shylon Lemorin-December was born September 22, 1951, at 10:30 P.M., to Jessie and Josie Lee Cook in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended Oakland Elementary School, Matthew Gilbert High School, and Florida Community College for Nursing. Shylon served at St Catherine Laboure Manor for 35 years. Shylon December was an active member of H.A.P.O.R. Ministries. Shylon was a part of the Rachel Chapter Order of The Eastern Star. She dedicated her life to helping others. Ms. December departed this life on Monday, August 22, 2016. She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted and loving special friend, English White, Jr.; brother, Lorenzo Cook (Sandra); sister-in-law, Jessiemae Cook; children, Sharolyn Harris (Edward), Kimberly Coleman-Cohen (Terrence); grandchildren, Lavithia Cook, ShaTeria Cook, Ahday Battle (Antoinette), Antario Battle, MyQuia Alston-Cohen, TyAunna Cohen, Terrence Cohen Jr., Karrylee Cohen, Carolyn Cohen Kamiyah Coleman; great grandchildren, Darrell Hatcher, Kavaria Williams, Jaquez Hatcher, Kavon Williams, Anthony Carter, Antonio Carter, Antario Battle, Jr., Amelia Battle, Aniyah Battle; nieces and nephews, Shaunie Cook, Irving Cook, Jessie Cook; special cousin, Barbara Jean Richardson. A host of relatives and friends.
