Shirley Gill Obituary The late Mrs. Shirley Gill was born on August 12, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida to Viola Curtis Simon. She attended the local public schools and graduated from Matthew W. Gilbert High School. She worked in the medical field as a Medical Lab Technician where she later retired with Quest Lab Diagnostics after many years of service. Shirley Gill departed this life on September 24, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Mrs. Gill was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Franklin Gill on June 06, 1992. Shirley had two sons prior to this union: Mr. Raymond Thompson (Samantha) who preceded her in death and Mr. Roger Thompson, Jr. Mr. Franklin Gill had four sons prior to their marriage: Lionel Gill, Marcelle Gill, Franklin Gill and Sean Gill. Their large family produced many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, a host of cousins, friends and neighbors all of which she leaves behind to cherish her memories.
