Sherry Larsina Anderson

Ms. Sherry L. Anderson was born on July 21, 1964 in Jacksonville, Florida to Theodore Anderson and Rose Lee Anderson. She attended Paxon Jr. High and graduated from Paxon Sr. High School. She was a faithful and active member of Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and the kitchen committee.

Sherry was well known in her community for serving at her neighborhood school S. P. Livingston with many of her nieces, nephews and other children. She also volunteered at Smart Pope Elementary. She was very kind and whenever she could she didn’t mind lending a helping hand. Sherry passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Rose Lee Anderson, her sisters Betty Belton and Marie Edward and her brothers Theodore Jr, Earl, and Thaddeus Anderson.

She leaves to cherish in her memories her sons; Ronald Stroughter Jr. and Tony Anderson; her grandchildren; Ta’Niya Ricks, Jazmin, Jayla, Janelle and Jacoby; her sisters; Deborah Anderson, Louise Anderson, and Juanita Patterson(Donald); Brothers; Zachary (Diane) Theodore (Carla), Ronald (Felicia) and Antonio Anderson (Rosalyn); a host of sorrowing uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
