Samuel Harvey

In Loving Memory of Samuel A. Harvey, who was born on November 16, 1929 in Sylvester (Worth county), Georgia. He was the youngest son of Rev. James M. Harvey and Mrs. Rena Harvey - both deceased. Samuel Harvey departed this world and went from labor to rest on September 10, 2011. Brother Harvey attended various schools in Worth County Georgia and New York City. He also completed various advanced courses in Heidelberg, Germany. He was extended the position of teacher while stationed in Germany. His tour of service in the United States Army, extended from Sept. 14, 1948 to May, 1964. His service included recruites to Chief Warrant Officer. His primary religious activities included more than 40 years with St. Stephens A.M.E. Church. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Mary L. Proctor; his niece, Margie Span; several other nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. ~ 2nd Timothy 4:7 ~
