Homegoing service for Mrs. Rosalee Hooks, born July 1, 1925 in Hastings, Florida to Edna and John Owens, who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Hooks attended the local schools. She left this world on May 24, 2014 to be with the Lord after an extended illness. She was united with the late Rev. John D. Hooks in Jacksonville, Florida. She has 2 daughters: Sharon Louise (John) Fisher and Lydia Ann Hooks (deceased), 2 sons: Ronnie Iseal Hooks and Gary Chris. Hooks. 2 step children, Beatrice Phillogene (deceased) and John Hooks, Jr. She also leaves behind her sister, Mary Louise Sanders. There are 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grand children and other sorrowing relatives and friends. The family greatly appreciate the care provided by the employees of Harts Harbor Nursing Home.
