Rory Michael Thompson

Rory Thompson, Sr. was born on October 20,1958 in Jacksonville, Florida to Parrish Thompson and Mary Lipford. He was employed by Duval County School Board for over 20 years. He did not have a church home but he was a very spiritual person. He is best known in his community as being an excellent craftsman, his love for laughter, his warm heart and his passion for motorcycles. He is preceded in death by his father, Parrish Thompson; mother, Mary Lipford and brother, Robert Lipford. He survived by his daughter, Tekia Johnson(Christian); son, Rory Thompson, Jr.; grandson, Caiden Johnson; brothers, Romany Thompson, Ronald Thompson, Rodney Thompson, Rev. Roger Thompson and Royce Thompson; sister, Roxanne Thompson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
