Roosevelt Bacon Jr. 'BABA' Obituary Roosevelt Alton Bacon Jr (BABA) age 83 of Jacksonville, Florida entered eternal life on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. He was born the first of two children to Roosevelt Bacon and Mildred J. Thomas. He attended local schools. He was a faithful Longshoreman Local 1408 for 30+ years and was truly dedicated to his job in which he loved dearly. Roosevelt was preceded in Death by his wife Annette Bacon for 59 years. Before his illness he loved to go shopping and loved to travel especially to the" Bethune Cookman University" vs FAMU Classic. He was a die-heart Dallas Cowboys Fan. He made some unforgettable impacts in our lives in one way or another. He will be truly missed and his memory will always be in our hearts. Roosevelt was preceded in death by, Reshard Alton Bacon (son), Mildred J. Thomas (mother), Roosevelt Bacon (father), Albert Bacon (brother), Dwight Bacon (brother). Roosevelt leaves to cherish his memories his children: Terri Barrington (Tyrone), Roosevelt Bacon III (Ft Lauderdale, FL), Janese Bacon, Tonya Bacon (Atlanta, GA) Kathy Staten (Ft. Lauderdale), Charlie Lewis (Bernie) (Atlanta, GA) 9 grandchildren, 24 grandchildren, two sisters, Crystal and Peggy Bacon, four brothers Joe, Phil, Chris, and Eric Bacon, Catherine Sykes (mother-in-law) Louise Jenkins and Sandra Sykes (sister-in-laws) a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
