Ronnie Lamar Kester, Sr

KESTER, SR. - Ronnie Lamar Kester, Sr., was born September 6, 1951, to the late John Henry Kester, Sr. and Julia Mae Kester, in Vienna, Georgia. His siblings includes two brothers Alphonso McClendon and John Kester, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julia Mae and John Henry Kester, Sr. and brother John Kester, Jr. In 1954, at the age of 3, Ronnie moved to Jacksonville, with his family, remained here until his demise. He was a graduate of Matthew W. Gilbert High School. He retired from the Duval County School Board after 30 years of service. Left to cherish are his loving wife Monise; sons, Ronnie, Jr. (Mary) and Jon; daughter, Anacelia; stepchildren Angelina and Jasper; grandsons, Walter (Robin), Deven, Ronnie, III and Dante; brother, Alphonso McClendon (Van) and a host of relatives and friends.
