Robert Howard

Mr. Robert Howard Sr. departed this life on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Clinch Health Care, Homerville, Georgia. Mr. Robert Howard was born December 19, 1943 to the late John B. Howard and Roberta Griffin Howard in Irvington, Georgia. He attended the local schools of Duval County and graduated from New Stanton High School, June 1962. He enlisted in the United States Navy 1966. He was married to Sylvia Ephron Howard and from this Union one child was born and four step children. He is survived by his son, Robert Howard, Jr.; step children, Paulette (Terry) Porter, Yvette (Warren) Kidd of Jacksonville, Florida, Sylvia (Noah) Everett of Folkston, Georgia and Tiffany Tompkins of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Deon, Javon, Xzavier, Raequan, Quandarius, Raeven, Robert III, Jayden, Terry, (Rajeeni) Kenneth, Aaron, Adrian, Steven, Roneisha, Noah, Nolan, Alvin, Zedrick and Tiara; six great-grand children, Jayce, Javon, Laliah, Terry, Teraje and Teriya; one sister, Althea Smith of Clearwater, Florida; sister-in-law, Gladys Howard of Marietta, Georgia and a host of other nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
