Richard Jones III Obituary Richard Jones III , born to Richard 'Pop' Jones Jr. & Mae Jessie McMillan Jones in Thomasville Ga. on March 13, 1941. He was educated in Duval County schools. Graduated from Stanton High school. Attended Jones College. Served in the U S Army. Richard was married on July 30, 1967 to Elizabeth Caswell. They had two children Richard Jones IV and Nicole A Jones, one Grandson Nicolaas D Muff. He was the oldest of 5 children, Mae Dean (Clarence CB) Jackson, Barbara (Thomas) Pough, Donald Jones (Deceased) & Lorenzo Jones (deceased) & stepbrother Floyd Gibson, nieces, Wytonia, Yolanda and Tricia one grandniece Cyniah Whittington, goddaughters April and Chelsei Elizabeth. He also had remaining family members and friends. Richard was employed by St Vincent Hospital, CSX Railroad and was an entrepreneur (Dry Cleaner business, 2 Laundromats) and was a faithful and active member in New Mt. Moriah AME Church. On December 31, 2023, he departed to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
