Pearl Mccormick

PEARL J. MCCORMICK enjoyed her flowers while she lived a full life in Jacksonville, Florida until she passed away on September 17, 2013. She was born on October 21st in Valdosta, GA to the late John H. Johnson and Rosa L. Johnson. Joined in Holy Matrimony to Charlie McCormick, Sr. for 57 years. After moving her membership from St. John Miss. Baptist Church, she joined Second Miss. Baptist Church, Jax Bch. FL with her husband Rev. Charlie McCormick, Sr., supported his Ministry and continued after his death as an active member. She was also an employee of King Edward Cigars, Daylight Grocery Store and Pantry Pride where she gave many years of service. An active member of the Eastern Star, Morning Star Chapter 64 a member of the Ministers Wives of South Florida. Pearl will always be loved adored and remembered by her family; one devoted daughter, Min. Lou Holman(Sam); 4 loving sons, Dea. Charlie McCormick Jr.(Susan), Dea. Willie McCormick(Phronia), Alfred McCormick(Elaine) and Alvin McCormick; Step daughter, Cora Spencer, Knoxville, TN; Sister, Dorothy Cummings; 21 grandchildren; 60+ great grandchildren; 2 godchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
