Olsen Henry

Mr. Olsen Henry was born March , 15, 1945 in Jacksonville, Florida to Will and Alberta Henry. He attended Duval Public Schools. He met and married Jennifer Renee Ling in 1988. He was employed by Roofers Local Union 181 for many years. Elder Olsen Henry joined the church family of Alexander Temple over two decades ago. Where he was under the leadership of Bishops Donna McCollors and Dorothy Everett he served faithfully as an Elder until his death. He was a well known in his community for being a gospel singer. He was a singer in various groups, The Cavaliers, The Supreme Stars and his present group affiliations was The Gospel Tones. He also was singing in various church events. He was preceded in death by parents, Willie and Alberta Henry; wife, Jennifer Renee Ling-Henry; sons, William Henry and David D Seseberry; siblings, Roberta Henry and Bernard Henry. He is survived by son, Jumar D. Henry, grandsons, Jumar E. Henry, David l Seseberry; sisters, Elder Mildred Henry of St. Augustine, Florida and Rosa Lee Henry of New England, Connecticut; brothers, Joseph Henry of New York, New York, Lee Ardis Henry (Brenda), John Henry (Diane), Tommy Lee Henry of Waterbury, Connecticut and two very close and dedicated friends Deacon James McCauley, Mr. Jimmy Woods, Louis Calvin and Randel Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
