She was born to the late Jim and Mamie Grace Clemons in Jennings Florida. She went to school in Jennings, Florida in Hampton County. She soon moved to Jacksonville, Florida were she was united in holy matrimony to James Ware. She was employed with Cooper Academy for many years. She was a faithful and active member of St. Paul AME Church for many years until she became ill. She sang in St. Paul's choir and she was also a soloist. She is survived by a devoted husband, James Ware, one son Robert Graham (Dradine) of Jacksonville, FL, two step daughters, Patricia Ann Ware and Ella Mae Ware both of Dawson, GA., three sisters Mae Barbara Herraning, Pontiac, MI., Pearlei Mae Smith, Fort Myers, FL., Shirley Pasley, Fort Myers, FL. seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, all of Dawson, GA., five grandchildren, Jacksonville, FL, one brother, J. C, Clemons, Fort Myers, FL. two sister-in-laws, Mary L. Ware Brooks, Jacksonville, FL., Addie Ruth Harvey (Arthur Jr.), Bronwood, GA. Two brother-in laws, Jimmie Ware, and Clarence Ware Sr. (Annie) both of Bronwood, GA., Godson, Willie Jones, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friend.
