Mildred Delores Vanburen

Mrs. Mildred Lunsford-Vanburen was born on April 09, 1940 to Lillie Bell-Lunsford and Willie Lunsford in Jacksonville, Florida. Mrs. Vanburen graduated from college and earned her Bachelors Degree as a Registered Nurse. She worked at St. Vincents Medical Center for 9 years, before becoming the owner and operator of her own business, Northwest Adult Daycare for over 20years. She was an active member in her community and always extended a helping hand to whomever her heart desired. She was very hands on with her family always a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen. Mrs. Vanburen could always be seen with her loving great-grandkids whom will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by grandsons, Kenneth Newsome and Sir Kendrick Mincey. She is survived by her loving husband, Allen Vanburen; her sons, Kenneth Newsome, Isaac(Scarlet) Newsome and Kent Hall (son/nephew); daughter, Collette Mincey; grandkids, Kenneth Cue, Aisha Newsome, Rhamesha Baldwin, Kaydon Gauvin, IssacNewsome, III., Isiah Newsome, Darius Watson, Tahisha Watson, Tameka Williams, Artez Bigham; great grandkids, Kenethia Cue, Richaun Newsome, Teniya Baldwin, Robin Cue, Kenneth Cue, Jr. Darina Cue, Teniya Baldwin, Kyrie Cue; sisters, Bernice Griffin, Lillie Meadows, Gloria Rogers, Mildred Taylor; brothers, Willie(Brenda) Knowles and Lorenzo Jones; mother-in-law, Modestine Vanburen; God-mother, Ida Mae Holt; sisters-in-law, Frances(Willie) Washington, Pauline (Michael)Anderson, Patricia (Willie) Gregg, Hattie Vanburen, Katie Vanburen and Reva Vanburen; brothers-in-law, Al Vanburen and Larry (Deloris) Vanburen and a host of other loving relatives and sorrowing friends.
