Michael Jerome Hogg

Michael Hogg Obituary Mr. Michael Jerome Hogg entered this journey of life through His parents Joe and Dorothy Hogg, in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Jacksonvilles public schools and graduated from William M. Raines. Michael was a butcher at Premier Meats. Mr. Hogg was a devoted member of Mt Sinai Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor R. L. Gundy. Michael served as the transportation personnel for the church that he loved so dearly. On Sunday, November 10, 2024 Michael took residence in the heavenly choir where he joyfully sings "Im coming up on the rough side of the mountain". He is preceded in death by parents: Joe and Dorothy Hogg; step-son: Raymond Rowe; and brother: Alphonso Hogg. Michael is survived by his loyal wife: Claretha Rowe Hogg; daughters: Sabrina Douglas and Jordan Lucus; step-son: Daniel Rowe; daughter in-law: Taunya Smith Rowe; brothers: Joe Hogg; sister in-law: Mary Hogg; nieces: Sandra Jenning, Ronette W. Fowler, and Jada Woodard Bronson. Michael is also survived by both grandchildren and great grandchildren; special friend: Kenny Williams; and a host of other cousins, family, and friends.
