Matthew Cobb

Matthew Stephen Cobb was born on June 9, 1964 in Jacksonville, Florida to Avery Cobb and Nona Mills. He attended Robert E. Lee High School where he graduated in 1984. After High School, Stephen lived a life full of love for Jesus Christ. He had a wife and six children whom he loved. He enjoyed working as a truck driver for over 15 years. He and his wife were foster parents for over 10 years. He touched a lot of peoples' lives and loved to talk about Jesus and the Word of God. Stephen departed this life on June 8, 2012. Cherishing his memories is his wife, Joyce Cobb; his children, Brintney Swain, Matthew Cobb, Jr., Marcus Cobb, Charity Cobb, Chakata Young and Shamar Young; his mother, Nona Mills (Alphonso); father, Avery Cobb (Daisy); sisters, Adriane White (Victor), Letitia Kirkland (Jessie), Shireathia Robinson, Jonnet Mills, Sherwante Cobb and Leveta Smith (Charlie); brothers, Avery Cobb, Jr. and Dannty Cobb (Shenell); a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
