Mary E. Dean

Mary Dean Obituary Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Sheppard Dean was born October 31, 1932 in Waycross, GA, Ware County to the late James Sheppard and Bessie Mae Milton Sheppard. Mrs. Dean received her early education in the public schools of Ware County, GA. She was united in marriage to Willie Dean October 21, 1957. She worked at Draper Poultry, Henry Hickhouse and Central Riverside Elementary School before retiring at 71 years old. After residing in Jacksonville, FL for several decades, Mrs. Dean dedicated her life to Jehovah God and got baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 30, 1975. She attended Riverside and Central congregations. Sister Dean leaves to cherish her memories, Children: Charles Sheppard (Linda), William Barkley (Sheral) Albert Barkley, Willie Mae Dean Eggert, James Henry Dean and Marnita Elizabeth Dean Dunbar. Nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren (some of which she never met). Brother: Johnny Bacon (Marie), Aunt: Kastie McClendon; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
