Mary Booker Obituary Ms. Mary Lou Booker was born on January 27, 1944 in Waynesboro, Georgia to Frank Booker and Irene Douse. She attended Stanton High and graduated from Edward Waters College with a Masters Degree in Sociology and Bachelor in Arts. She was employed by the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Services as a Social Worker for 30 years of service. She was well known in her community for helping the sick and Shut INS. Mary is Survived by son: Roderick Booker, Sr. (Michelle); brother: Charles Jenkins (Brenda) of Atlanta, Georgia; God-children: Sharon Myers (Billy) of Jacksonville, Florida, Cynthia Rogers (Granville) of Ly, Kentucky, Lucretia Norman (Bobby) of Jacksonville, Florida, Patrick Piper (Johnetta) of Honolulu, Hawaii; loving aunt: Annie Mae Anthony (Joe) of Waynesboro, Georgia: grandchildren: ShaKetia Jackson (Daniel) of Jacksonville, Florida, Rudolph Floyd (Kateena) of Jacksonville, Flrida, Xavier Durden of Jacksonville, Florida, Roderick Booker, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, CaShea Booker of Jacksonville; Six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
