Marvin "T-Bone" Brooks

Marvin Brooks, 59, affectionately known as (T-Bone), went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 16, 2025. He was a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle and friend. T-Bone was well-known in his community as nice, outgoing and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Mr. Marvin (T-bone) Brooks was born on August 9, 1965, in Jacksonville Florida, to James and Meneltha Brooks.

Marvin is preceded in death by his father, James Brooks, Sr.; mother, Meneltha Brooks; son, Javaris Ford; and brother, Ernest Brooks.

He leaves to cherish his memories, Daughter, Ciara Douglas; Sons, Marvin Allen and Mario Ford (Kaylah); Grandchildren; Brothers, Albert Brooks and Bruce Brooks (Stephanie); Sisters, Delores Shaw, Lucille Wright (Ocie), Annie Mae Brooks, Janice Johnson (Charles), Donna Faye Rollins (Michael), Julish Brooks and Melanie Brooks; the mothers of his children, Tasha Allen and Rhonda Ford; Best Friend, Ron Jackson, Lester Mayes, Business Consultant; Willie Mae Lane; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
