Ms. Marsha Lynn (Pee-Wee) Reddick Jackson, the daughter of Annie Bell Reddick and Robert Johnson, was born in Richland, Georgia on November 18, 1958. Marsha graduated from Lakeland Senior High, class of 1976. She was an honor student, cheerleader, and ran track. She later graduated from Polk County Community Center, Lakeland Beauty College, and Concorde Career Institute. Marsha worked at the courthouse in Polk Co. and Duval Co., Little Dove Day Care, and Welcome Health Care. When in Lakeland, she attended New Mount Zion, under the leadership of Rev. Bolden and Rev. Norris. Marsha passed on Friday, April 6, 2012. Marsha leaves to cherish her memory, her son: Ayron Wilson Sr. (Chevette), daughter: Kenesha Squire; grandchildren: Derrick Phelps, Ayron Wilson Jr., Ayrmon Wilson, Ayrissa Wilson, and Ayrlissa Wilson; Loving friend and companion Samuel Harris; brother: Thomas Battle (Reddick); sisters: Lessie May Yaqub (Khawar ), Georgia Lewis, Dorothy Lee (Desi); an aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family members and friends. Marsha will be remembered as a leader, loving in the community, sociable, and embracing. She was also an encouraging person who never met a stranger and sacrificed for others. She had a vibrant sense of humor and her happiness was contagious. Marsha will be truly missed. May all who knew her reflect on the good times and cherish those memories in their hearts.
