Marquise James Williams

Marquise James Williams was born on February 9, 1998, to Sherrie Ardley and Maurice Williams. Marquise attended the public school system in Jacksonville, Florida and received his GED while in Job Corps. He worked in food services for many years and for various businesses. Marquise had agenuine love for all people. He was affectionately known as ”Poppa” by many family members. He had a zest for life, a love for stylish footwear and was truly devoted to those he called friend.He was preceded in death by his mother: Sherrie; his maternal grandmother: Mrs. Ida; a devoted maternal grandfather: Mr. Ned Ardley; paternal great grandmother: Mrs. Ruby P. Jenkins, whomhe helped to care for during her illness; and his paternal grandfather: James Williams.Marquise leaves to cherish his memories, father: Maurice Sr. (Lucania); sister: Tyresha Gordon(Devonta, Sr.); brother: Maurice Jr.; grandmother: Sandra Williams; great aunt: Alice Hughes (Joseph); nephews: Diondre, Devon, Trevon, Devonta, Jr.; nieces: Mahogany and Mariyah Gordan, and Marley Williams; cousins: Za'mya Williams and Ja'kyah Ardley; and a devoted friend: LyscoOdom.
