Marie Emery Obituary Marie Emery was born on October 28, 1940 in Jacksonville, Fl to the late Jacob and Marie Lawrence. Marie was educated at Gilbert senior high school in Jacksonville, fl. She worked at King Edward Cigar Factory where she retired and afterwards she worked for the Davidson Family. She was a faithful member of Morning Star Freewill Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fl. She was also a member of the Incomparable Ladies Club since 1970. Marie departed this life on Monday February 18,2019. Marie is preceded in death by her parents; Jacob and Marie Lawrence. five sisters; Pastor Rudyne Sheffield, Molly Newson, Elder Ella Mae Lawrence, Gloria Stephens and Beverly Dawson; three brothers: Jacob Lawrence, Leon Lawrence and Oddie Van Lawrence. She leaves to cherish her memory by her children: Hal Lawrence, Kenneth Lawrence and Kavin Lawrence; Grandchildren Stanley Lawrence, Shanteria Lawrence, Kenshela Lawrence, Priscilla Williams, Kavin(Jessica) Lawrence, Marice Lawrence, Telecia Kelly. Great Grandchildren: Kaden Wright, Kristin Johnson Tyrrell Lawrence. Sister: Elder Brenda McGriff; brothers: Bobby Lawrence and Isaac Lawrence; two sisters-in-law: Anna Lawrence and Mae Lawrence and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
