Malcum Henry was born December 19, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of the late Cass and the late Yvonne Henry. As a teenager, Malcum relocated to California and was blessed to received the love and guidance of the late Larry and Loretta Baker. Malcum completed his educational studies in California and joined the United States Army. He retired from the U. S. Army as Telecommunication OPS Chief after 24 years of service. He was the recipient of two Bronze Star Medal awards, five Army Commendation Medal awards and nine Army Achievement Medal Awards. He returned to work for the Transportation Security Administration at the Jacksonville International Airport Malcum enjoyed cooking. The "Master Chef" was known for his BBQ ribs. He leaves to cherish fond memories of his devoted wife, Latosha Henry; son, Rashad Henry; daughter, Tiffany Henry; brother, the late Merritt Henry and Larry Baker, Jr.; sister, Marla Henry; mother-in-law, Madia Sheppard; father-in-law, Leroy, Joiner (Denise); sister-in-law, Taursa Davis(Shaun); brother-in-law, Craig Sheppard; Trumaine Joiner (Kenneshia); grandmother, Ella Hartley; Theresa McGrier "Big Mama" and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
