He was preceded in death by his adopted mother, Sarah Edwards; three brothers, Dominique Davis, Bernard Edwards and Victor Elum; also, a sister, Estelle Edwards. He leaves a devoted mother, Maria Davis; a daughter, Jasmine Cobb; four sisters, Lynda Wright, Sharon Edwards, Deborah Brown and Pamela Oyet (Paul); three brothers, Michael Davis, Lionel Edwards and Isaac Geiger. He also leaves two devoted nephews, Lester Dix and Julius Edwards; a devoted cousin, Johnathan Walker and a host of nieces other nephews and cousins.
