1938-2017 Passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 in the comfort of his own home, at the age of 78. Born to Leroy Nixon Sr. and Melrose Nixon. The oldest out of 12 kids and 4 preceding him in death Betty Ann Gibbs, Earline Nixon, Jimmy Nixon, and Lee Marion Nixon. Behind he left 6 surviving siblings Willie Pearl Small (Joe Small), Dorothy Nixon, Minnie Mobley (Ricky), Harry Nixon (Louise), Ulyssee Nixon (bonnie), Richard Nixon (Shirley), Virgil Nixon (Lois). He was a loving husband to Nellie Mae Nixon. Cherished father to Curtis Leroy Nixon, Kenneth Fogle, and Earline Fogle and grandfather to Samantha Joy Fogle, Emery Chante Fogle Green, Tre Fogle and Kamron Fogle, and a loving great-grandfather to Desmond Deshawn Fogle, Christopher Baynham III. His Services viewing will be held at 3031 Moncrief Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32209 from 12:00 until 2:00 follow by his cremation. To some he was just man but to others he was a father, and or hero. He didnt hesitate to tell you how things were and going to go and how he may have felt. He was not a member to a church but he always kept the lord in his heart. Far from perfect, but better than most. He will be sincerely missed by family members and friends, but he is truly in a better place. Fly High Jr and look low!!!!!
