Lee Rosa Brown

Ms. Lee Rosa,78, passed away July 28, 2012. She was born on December 8, 1933 in Ocala, Florida to Ras and Essie Mae Jones. She graduated from Howard High School and attended Bethune Cookman College. She was employed by Marion County School for 25 years until retirement. She was an active member of New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge. She was preceded in death by her son, Tommie Lee Brown; brother, Willie C. Jone, Master Frank Latrey Smith, III and special friend, Lillie Shelton. She is survived by children, Lee Rosa Rawls (Nathaniel), Lillie Brown-Smith, Thomas Brown Jr. (Bridgette), Essie McCall (Charles); sister, Lillie Mae Dennis; grandchildren, Kristen Rawls Mack (Steven), Brishailah Brown, Lakadria and Charles McCall Jr., Janae' Smith, Phyllis Rawls, Tanya Hanks (Robert M.), Sheronda Brown and Mikayla Brown; great grandchildren, Jeriahmiah and Courtland Mack, Kori and Robbie Hanks, Antonia Ollison, Jr. and Destiny Brown; aunt, Jeanett Howard; uncle, Willie Burley, St. Petersburg, Florida; sister-in-law, Queen Jones; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Brown; adopted sons and daughters; Pastor Stanley and Virginia Jacobs, Jerry and Berna Jenkins; God daughter, Donnalyn Fields; special friends, Debbie Palazzo, Diane Hughes, Deloris Robinson, Pertie Carter; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of sorrowing friends all loved by her.
