LaToyia Maria Canady, 39, of Jacksonville, Florida, departed from this world on September 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy filled with joy, laughter, and unconditional love. Born and raised in her beloved Jacksonville, LaToyia was a vibrant spirit who illuminated the lives of everyone around her. She approached life with a boldness that inspired those fortunate enough to know her, filling every gathering with energy and excitement. Being in her presence was a reminder to embrace our true selves and make every moment meaningful.

A devoted mother, LaToyia poured her heart into her three children—Dae’Quan, Carla, and King—who were her everything. Her love extended beyond her role as a mother, as she was cherished by her mother, Cynthia Canady; her stepfather, Ervin; and her siblings, LaRecka and Jamale. The laughter shared with her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth and Keiseanna, was a testament to the bonds of family that LaToyia so deeply valued. She had a special way of connecting with her nieces and nephews—Jazz, Justin, Lyriq, Tijuan, Keshaun, Jaccari, and Ma’Lasia—leaving an indelible mark on each of their hearts.
