In Loving Memory of Ky’ona Ty’keria Abbie Lindsey

With heavy hearts, we remember Ky’ona Ty’keria Abbie Lindsey, who joyfully embraced life and left us far too soon. Although her time with us was brief, she filled our days with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories that will linger in our hearts forever.

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, on December 14, 2003, Ky’ona was a shining light from the very start. She was raised by her loving parents, Antionette Williams and Kenneth Lindsey, who watched as she grew and thrived in her community.

Ky’ona’s educational journey spanned several schools including Hendricks and Wendy Hill Elementary, as well as Twin Lakes and Dupont Middle School, where she made numerous friends who will cherish their time with her. Proudly graduating from Eckerd Connects, she had ambitious dreams of becoming both a nail technician and a veterinarian, showcasing her immense love for animals.

As a devoted member of New Vision Assembly Church, Ky’ona’s faith and community were of paramount importance to her. Her spirit was magnetic, and her contagious laugh could brighten the darkest of days. With her distinct sense of style and a smile that could light up any room, Ky’ona lived boldly and unapologetically. She enjoyed indulging in tacos, sipping daiquiris, and creating joyful memories with her siblings and cousins. Ky’ona was undoubtedly the life of every party, spreading delight wherever she went.

Ky’ona now joins her beloved Great Grandmothers, Abbie Lindsey and Flossie Mae Dozier, her Grandfather James Williams Jr., Aunt Vanessa Dozier, and Uncle Charlie Powell, in eternal peace.

She leaves behind a circle of love that will continue to cherish her memory: her devoted mother, Antionette Williams; her loving father, Kenneth Lindsey; grandmothers Charlie Mae Dozier and Mechalene Lindsey; great grandfather Charlie Dozier grandfather Kenneth Evans, and her brothers Kenneth Lindsey Jr. and Kacii Lindsey. Additionally, Ky’ona is survived by her sisters Kala, Kenyatta (Yatt), and Kennedii Lindsey; her godsister Shykira Smith; and cherished niece Kanai Lee, along with a soon-to-arrive nephew, Kyson Lindsey. The warmth of her extended family includes aunts Regina Dozier, Gwendolyn Dozier, Jermecha Tippins, Jerlisia Tippins, Ikeya Tippins andTakara Manning, uncles Terrance Dozier, Nikos Evans, and Jerome Tippins, as well as favorite cousins Brandon, Ahshuna, David, and Deja. Ky’ona’s special friend Edward Harrell, alongside a multitude of other family members and friends, will hold her dear in their hearts.

Ky’ona Ty’keria Abbie Lindsey’s vibrant spirit will forever be treasured, and her legacy will endure through the love she shared and the lives she touched. May we all carry a piece of her joy and light within us as we continue to honor her memory.
