Kim Nixon Obituary Ms. Kim Tiwana Nixon was born on January 8, 1970 to Horace Lee Holmes Sr. and Valerie Ann Tate in St. Augustine, Florida. She was a member of the illustrious Jean Ribault Sr. High Class of 1988. She attended the Fashion Institute of Orlando where she majored in Fashion Marketing. She was employed by various Jacksonville businesses such as Methodist and St. Lukes Hospitals, Coach and Macys. She was an active online member of The Potters House in Dallas, TX. She is survived by: Parents, Horace Lee Holmes Sr. and Valerie Ann Tate (Rev. Joseph Tate); Son, DeAnthony Nixon (Lakeisha); Grandkids, Maxwell Nixon, Micah Nixon, Aaliyah Nixon, Keyari Nixon and Kehlani Nixon; Siblings, Keith Holmes (Gail), Tara Holmes Clark (Ronald), Eyisha Cooke-Taylor (Clayton), Horace Holmes Jr. (Shiffon) and Jasmine Smalls (Reynard); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
