Kecia L. Franklin arrived on April 5, 1969 in Jackson, Tennessee to James and Linda F. Nichols Ware. On April 22, 2012, Kecia departed and moved to her new home with our Father. Kecia attended the public school system in Jackson, Tennessee. In 1987, Kecia was a proud graduate of Jackson Central Merry (JCM) Senior High School, Jackson, Tennessee. Kecia received her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Business Admin from University of Phoenix. She was also a member of Delta Phi Si "Wear Bear." She was employed by the University of Florida for 10 years of service. She was an active member of Monument House of Prayer where she served as a faithful member. She was well known in her community for being a very giving generous person with a big heart. She possessed a creative flair and artistic gifts. She loved to sing. Kecia was well loved by everyone. She also honorably served in the United States Navy from November 1988 until November 1992. Kecia was preceded in death by her loving mother, Linda F. Ware (1992) and other family members. Kecia was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Kecia left so many to cherish her memory. Just to name a few, her loving and devoted husband of 21 years, Malcolm, Jr.; daughter, Jewelindia Sade; sons, Micah and Malcolm, III; grandsons, Jaleel and Kaleel Franklin-Tolbert, all of Jacksonville, Florida; father, James E. Ware of Chattanooga, Tennessee; grandmother, Gertrude Nichols of Jackson, Tennessee; father-in-law, Malcolm W. Franklin, Sr.; mother-in-law, Ellen C. Franklin; sister-in-law, Nequette D. Franklin; several uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives and friends. She also leaves to mourn her best friend, Goldie M. Ross of Jackson, Tennessee.
