Kayla Burns Obituary Ms. Kayla Burns was born on July 22, 1983, in Jacksonville, Florida to Linda Epperson and Riley Burns. She attended and graduated from A. Philip Randolph Academies. She was employed by Winn Dixie Grocery. Kayla was known for her devoted love for her family and friends. She was no stranger to anyone, authentic and wholeheartedly, a good friend in a time of need. Kayla was the understanding auntie, the loving mother, a sister keeper, and a slice of sunshine to the heavy hearted. Her light shined as a jewel in any dark place. Her irreplaceable love, charity and passion will be missed by many. She is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Riley Epperson and Tayla Pollins; parents, Linda Epperson and Norman Epperson; 3 Sisters, Sharane Williams, Lisa Warthen, and Ashley Epperson; 2 Brothers, Randy Warthen and Alex Epperson; Grandfather, William Payne; 2 Nieces, Takiyaa Daniels and Felicia Peterkin; Grand Niece and Nephew, Tiara Daniels and Kiyvon Johnson; 7 Uncles, 3 Aunties, 10 Cousins, beloved best friend, Valerie Singleton, and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
