Josette Mitchell Obituary Mrs. Josette Denise Smith Mitchell was born in NAS JAX, FL, on December 6, 1953, to the late Linda Lee Robinson Smith and Harry Lee Smith, Jr. Josette earned numerous degrees in finance and business administration. Josette was the owner of Mitchell Limousine LLC and Mitchell Tax and Legal Service LLC. She was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida for over 30+ years. She was a child advocate as well as a foster parent for numerous children in need. She was a member of the Northside Church of Christ, where Charles McClendon is the pastor. Josette was preceded in death by her late husband Curley Mitchell; her parents Linda and Harry Smith Jr.; mother-in-law, Mary Mitchell; daughter Carolyn Coleman; grandchildren, Tomesha V. Pemberton and Dominique T. King; siblings, Virgil Smith (Ann) and Allison Hooks. She leaves her precious and treasured memories: Her children Renee Camille Moore(Cecil), Adrian P. Smith, Dorothea Mitchell and Dorothy Mitchell Orengo-Santiago(Edwin), Sheryl Smalls, Angela Jones(Rick), Patricia Jones Sales(Jerome), Renee Jones Edwards; her grandchildren Felecia Smith, Cecil Moore(Anique) and Camille Bowman(Frank), Brandon McDonald, Breyon McDonald, Bryan McDonald, Tatiana King(Ceirra), Ralph Willams 3rd, Chris Williams, Destiny Coleman, DJ Coleman, and Curley Williams. Her siblings Jackie Heyward, Vernell Daise, Lillian Smith, Paul Smith, Jennifer Taylor(Derek), Gradene Crane, Cheryl Chandler, Grady Williams, stepmom Floydene Dickson.
