Jeffery W. King

Jeffery W. King, age 65, completed his sojourn in this life on Wednesday morning, October 7, 2026, due to cancer which was discovered in the early part of this year, and had metastasized throughout his body.

Jeff was a devout believer in his Lord Jesus Christ, and had an extensive collection of bibles and bible resource books, which he dearly loved to read and discuss. He was also an avid collector of radios, with over 300 different radios from both the past and present.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, he enjoyed keeping up with the Cardinals baseball team, and attending their home games during his younger years.

He owned his own business, known as “A King’s Touch Auto Detailing” and had several regular clients and new clients who appreciated his honest and thorough work, until he was no longer able to work due to the progression of the cancer.

Jeff was a life-long bachelor, with no surviving immediate family, although he did consider his close friend Jane Ballard of Jacksonville, to be like a second mom to him.

A Memorial Service for Jeff will be held at the Chrisitan Family Fellowship church where he attended for the past 15 years, at 7216 Old Middleburg Rd. S., Jacksonville FL 32222. The service will take place on Sunday, October 25th, at 12noon.
