James Orr, Jr. Obituary Mr. James Orr, Jr. was born on July 18, 1933 in Jacksonville, Florida to James Orr, Sr. and Minnie Hicks. He attended Stanton High School and graduated from Stanton High School in 1952. He met and married Irene Robinson. He was employed by the New York Police Department and later retired from the New York Police Department after 20 years of service. He also served in the United States Air Force for a period in his life. He is preceded in death by parents, James Orr, Sr. and Minnie Hicks. He is survived by wife, Irene Orr; six children, Valerie Butler (Michael) Killeen, TX, Vanessa Stephens (Jevonnie Spratling) Sherry Burney, Larry Stephens, Jr. (Keshia Stephens), Carlos Stephens (Phedra Stephens), Kevin Stephens (LaMonica); a host of grands, great grands and other loving relatives and sorrowing friends.
