James Edward Applegate

APPLEGATE - Mr. James Edward, 79, Servant of the most high God was born on July 17, 1935 passed away Nov. 5, 2014. Jim loved Classic Cars, Drums and Drum Corps. He served in the US Army 1960-1968. He had a 30 year career in the auto industry as Service Director and Warranty Manager with VW, Porsche, Audi and Mazda. He owned Applegate's Auto Land, Jacksonville, Florida. Jim was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Sara L. Applegate. He is survived by sons, David L. and Alan C.; grandchildren, Angela, Zachary, Mitchell and Evan and ex-wife, Joyce K. Applegate.
