James Johnson Obituary Mr. James Johnson was born on July 3, 1953, in Homerville, Georgia to Clarice Glaze and Charlie Joe Johnson. He met and married Carolyn James-Johnson. James is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn James-Johnson; and his sons Kenneth James, Chris Johnson, and Allen James. James is survived by his children, Nicole and Devin Hollins, Linda and Samuel Hooper, Chris and Kim Johnson, Laramae Johnson, Bridget Brown, James Johnson; 25 Grandkids and 20 Great-grandkids; his sisters, Catherine, Betty, Lisa, Etha, Louise; brothers, Peter, Ronnie, Clifford Jr.; his godchildren, Jameshia Boyd and, David Melton, and Shay Jackson; his favorite nieces, Kimberly James and, Chontal James; a daughter-in-law, Erica Johnson; and a host of other nieces, nephews and, very close friends.
