James ' Bumpsy' Obituary Mr. James "Bumpsy" Bradley was born March 31, 1934 in Jacksonville, Florida to Margret and James Bradley Sr. He attended the local schools of Duval County. Mr. Bradley proudly served in the US Army and was honorably discharged. He was employed by Kraft Foods, Maxwell House Coffee Division, where he held several leadership positions. He retired from Kraft Foods after 30 years of service.
Mr. James "Bumpsy" Bradley met and married the love of his life, Fredericka Thompson Bradley. He was a member and leader in several social and traveling clubs. The handsome Mr. Bradley and his beautiful wife enjoyed traveling independently as well as with their social groups. They oftentimes traveled with family and friends. He was a great cook and loved to entertain family and friends.
Mr. Bradley was an Icon in the City of Jacksonville. He was well known and respected by many. Unselfishly giving of Time, Talent, and Treasure; and embodying the true spirit of family and friendship. He spent many years caring for family and friends whom had fallen into difficult circumstances and or had fallen ill.
Mr. Bradleys was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters (Sammye White, Evelyn Gomez, Helen Alston, and Mary Cole).
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Fredericka Bradley; Nieces; Runea Graham, Kimberly Barrera, and Klanese Smith. Nephews; Jesus Gomez (Shiela), Oscar Gomez, Keith (Cheralyn) Graham, Michael Telfair, Robert Barrera, Antonio Stalling, Tracy Stalling, and Derrick Thompson. Special friends; Marsha Johnson of Atlanta and Gwen Tarver Lee, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
