Jacobian "KOKO" Howard

Jacobian “KOKO” Howard was born on August 16, 1979, to Jacob Howard and the late Glenise Mobley. Affectionately known as “KOKO,” he was raised in Jacksonville, Florida, where he built lifelong memories and friendships. Jacobian graduated from Wolfson High School, marking an important milestone in a life full of heart and resilience.

Jacobian was a lifelong sports enthusiast whose passion for football began in his youth and carried well into adulthood. A true sports fanatic, he often brought his friends together to form teams and compete in tournaments throughout Florida. His competitive spirit and love for the game created lasting memories and bonds among those who played alongside him.

Beyond the field, Jacobian had a deep love for cars. He found joy in working on them, restoring, customizing, and enhancing each vehicle with shiny rims, fresh paint jobs, and stylish interiors. His eye for detail and dedication to craftsmanship turned every project into a work of art. Whether it was on the field or under the hood, Jacobian poured his heart into the things he loved most.

Jacobian spent many dedicated years working at Cinnabon Bakery, where his passion for food and service first began to shine. His love for cooking and entertaining was evident to everyone who knew him. He eventually went on to manage several restaurants in the area, bringing his signature warmth, leadership, and joyful energy to every place he worked. Later, Jacobian pursued his dream of entrepreneurship, opening his own car wash, Hole in One. He poured his heart into this venture, just as he did in every aspect of his life.

Jacobian had an infectious energy always ready with a smile, a laugh, or a kind word to brighten someone’s day. He had a rare gift for making people feel truly seen, loved, and valued. His generosity knew no bounds, and he never hesitated to help anyone in need. Jacobian’s big heart and joyful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, family, and community will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Jacobian was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Glenise Mobley; his grandfathers, Mr. Willie Dixon; his grandmothers, Ms. Juanita Lee Mobley and Ms. Betty Howard; and his cherished son, Mason Davis.

The God of Life called Jacobian Howardhome to his eternal rest on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Ally Howard; his beautiful daughters, Destinee Dirden, Jamiyah Howard, and Olivia Howard; his father, Jacob Howard; his brother, Devonte’ Smith; and his sisters, Sharetta Howard (Antoine), Vontrice Mobley, Dallas Howard, Jada Howard, and Summer Howard.

Jacobian will also be remembered by his special cousins, Shareka Townsend and Le’Keian Woods; his longtime best friends, Lemerell Randolph and Hershell Denson; and his companion, Misty Davis, along with a host of loving family and friends.
