Ms. Gwendolyn Y. Fredrick was born on October 4, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida to Lenora E. Goodwin and Ezekiel Henry, Sr. She was the youngest of 21 children and attended the local schools in Jacksonville, Florida. She was employed as a private CNA where she worked at various centers and in private homes. She was a member of Greater New Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She was well known and respected in her community and will be forever cherished in our memories. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lenora E. Goodwin; father, Ezekiel Henry, Sr. (Minnie); 6 brothers and 2 sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Panchitta McKenzie and Temperance Fredrick; grandchildren, Averitt McKenzie, Tonette Roberts, Waynetta Roberts, Temperance Roberts, Jack Hoover, Jr., Janique Hoover; great grandchildren Avereona and Ka'Lynn McKenzie; sisters, Sarah Williams, Doris Jeanette Bell (William), Barbara J. Thomas and Lanora T. Philpot (Calvin); brothers, Marvin Reed (Gwen), Carl Reed (Connie), Ezekiel Henry, Jr. (Mary), Adam Braziel, Jr. (Sarah), a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special people, auntie Lanora "Couda Mae" Philpot and cousin Vicky W. McKinnon.
